Vicky Butterfly was inspired to create shows using this magical prop by observing how often there is a dead space within some venues and events that sadly goes unused... Water features are often filled and lit at great expense, so she thought it would be wonderful to be able to use these areas as a unique extension of the performance space. Why just perform beside the water, when you could also perform on it?!

However, all the acts created specifically for the bubble can also be performed on dry land too.

Initially she has created one act specifically for this specialist prop, ‘Rusalka’, but in the future she is also looking to adapt more of her acts to suit this space.

This act requires a stretch of (closed) water (min 12ft square), and also access to a power point a short distance away, with a smooth covered surface between that and the water.

It can be performed either as a straight timed act to music, and also as a longer installation suitable for all ages to enjoy...
